There are many different varieties of fear within Network Marketing.
-Fear of Failing
-Fear of Disappointing your upline/downline
-Fear of talking with strangers
-Fear of speaking in front of a crowd
- Fear of being rejected
-Fear of Succeeding (yes, you can fear success)
Fear is a natural inclination that stems from a deep down part of your brain where you mentally are holding yourself back from succeeding in Network Marketing. Yes, it is true! Your own mindset is what creates the fear. The fear alone is not strong but with your mindset and imagination the fear can become strong enough you want to not try.
Network Marketing is not meant to be feared rather revered. How can you overcome these fears? You must speak with your sponsor and thoroughly acknowledge your fears out loud. If you allow someone to help and walk you through these fears often times you will overcome the fear that is holding you back.
For any Network Marketer first starting out the main fears are failing, being rejected, and disappointing your upline or downline. Those are normal fears that most anyone will have starting any new business adventure. However, yes it is true someone at some point will tell you "NO" but, there is always someone out there that will tell you YES. Prepare yourself for that no and for family or friends you would love to see join you say no. They are not simply telling you as a person no they are simply saying no to the opportunity or products you are presenting them. Remember too that for a person to say yes to you it has to be the right time in their life to hear your opportunity & products.
If you are starting out in a financial stupor chances are fear of success will play a factor in how you will work the business. This is totally true because at one point you will stop and think, "my god what happens if I do reach financial freedom, what then"? It isn't the fear of success per say but the success of money and what you will do when you achieve the freedom you are looking for.
I recommend anyone who has a fear of Network Marketing to speak with a Leader in the industry and express those fears. Also, reading Network Marketing books is a great source to learn more and overcome fears. I know as there are many books out there that has helped me personally.
The point to this post is that everyone is going to be afraid of something but unless you acknowledge that fear and work through it with someone you will never achieve the right mindset to succeed in Network Marketing. Do not let your mindset hold you back from succeeding.

Zana, I am truly sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I too have gone through the same with my step father in 2005. I can completely relate. Working from home can sometimes be well stressful to say the least. We do not always know where to go or if where we are going with lead to us being where we want to be. Trial and error sometimes are the best ways and asking for guidance along the way just helps us to reach our destination much faster. Never be afraid to ask for help or seek more help!
